anchovy sandwich!

Every New Year's Eve at my Uncle's restaurant "Lenard's" in the #wickerpark​ neighborhood of #chicago​ he would make #renaissance​ sandwiches right before the champagne started flowing! According to legend, it would help to absorb all the alcohol!!! We still makes these every year (80 years and counting!) The ingredients might seem odd, but the combination of salt and oil with the cream and egg blends perfect for any time of the year!
